Metroid Prime/Fusion Connection Revealed! - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Nintnedo has been pretty secretive about the possibility of linking between the new Metroid games, but now PlanetGameCube has reported that it's possible. So what happens? Apparently, if you've finished Prime and hook up both games, you can have Samus wear the Fusion armor in Prime. And if you've finished Fusion and hook up both games, you can play the original NES Metroid! The article says that games will save to the memory card, so I don't know if the old password feature will work at all, though I'd guess you can do both. This is good news, as I've been looking on Ebay for a copy of the NES version, and now I won't have to buy it.

i know for a fact that the prime/fusion connection info came out 4 months ago in the EGM cover story.
