Oh about 100 4.99 games from Circuit City

Traded in a few to Gamestop in there get an extra $3 per game trade deal and a few to Gamerush in their get any used game for 9.99 when you trade in 2 used PS1, PS2, GC, or X-Box games, plus you get the credit for the games you turn in! Picked up Manhunt X-Box, Full Spectum Warrior X-Box, 007 Everything or Nothing GC, Need for Speed Underground GC, and many others this way, it's an awesome deal.

Still can't believe Ikea got Disgrea, damn

That controller physically fits my hands fine. I even kinda like the way it feels in my mitts. But gawdday-am if it's not the most sadistic torture to actually use. After a half hour my hand had cramps in areas I didn't know had muscle.

The last month I've been gone I picked up:

Mega Man Anniversary Collection: Amazing... I'm filled with old-school love.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay: Never seen the movies and not a Vin fan, but the reviews and my yearning for a new FPS made me trade in for it. I have to say it's cool and I dug it for the first few hours, but then I got bored. Will I ever finish it? Oh, the drama...

Soul Calibur: My roomie loves fighting games and when he saw this was $20 he basically bought it for me so he could play it. I find it monotonous and boring, but he seems to think it's the best thing since free-will... so who knows.

My first pay-day is this Friday, and I'm getting Thief 3 or Spiderman 2, depending on reviews...

Thief: Deadly Shadows - I've played it for all of 10 minutes due to work and other shit, but so far it seems real cool... not as "smooth" as I would like, but we'll see what happens.

I chose Thief over Spider-Man because most reviews said Spider-Man got old quickly, which says "wait for cheaper price" to me.

Crimson Skies - High Road to Revenge - I just got a 2-month trial subscription to Xbox Live with a controller I purchased, and I wanted to pick up a few games that are suppose to be essential to the "Live" experience (that way I can determine if I want to pay $50.00 and keep it after my two months are up). I've been going through the single player missions, and so far it's pretty fun. I checked in on Live for a match and got blown to pieces, so I figure I'd better brush up a bit before heading back on. I've got a feeling that multiplayer is going to be awesome once I get the hang of the controls.

I'd love to play, if I could get past the second level. I just interrogated that guy, and then I sneak downstairs into the burning embassy's foyer. There's one guy prowling around, and two playing dice in the far corner. I can't get past it...

I suck, in other words.

SC takes some getting used to... it really plays like no other game, not even Metal Gear Solid. I'm sure you're past it by now... but if not, the guy who walks around leaves his back to you at several spots... sneak up and take him out. Chances are the two guys in the corner noticed, and you can wither shoot them or wait until they get near you, then elbow them. Also, I replayed that level once and got around everyone just by shooting lights and moving fast... That was in hard mode, where you really need to not get shot.

Good luck, and remember that online SC is really totally different control wise. Make sure you practice the tutorials before jumping on, and look for me since I'm a novice too on the online parts. Just got my broadband back a little bit ago...

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I got Tony Hawk Underground, as it finally went down to $20...

I've been hooked on Tom Clancy games ever since the original Rainbow Six on pc (and I've been reading the books much longer than that), and I loved the first Splinter Cell. I've put off picking this one up since Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is coming out this holiday season (originally just for pc, but now for Xbox too). Chaos Theory looks simply breathtaking (and I plan on picking it up on release day), and I figured I'd pick Pandora Tomorrow up once the price dropped, but since it was $34 this week at Target, I went ahead and gave in because I've been dying to have it.

And so far, I'm more than completely satisfied with it .
