Finally got me an Xbox. I also picked up KOTR and Live with Crimson Skies. I would like to grab Halo but $30 is pretty steep for a game so old with a sequel on the way. Any word on a price drop?

I got a game called Ghosthunter for the PS2 yesterday. It's really good so far. The game is kind of like Silent Hill just with a lot more action. It's not quite as creepy, but that's really the closest comparison I can make.

There are a ton of cool, creepy enemies in the game, the best one I've run into so far being
Spoiler (Highlight or Triple Click to Read):
a ghost of a small girl who carries around a teddy bear. When you shoot the girl, the teddy bear grows into a freakishly large teddy bear who proceeds to pick up the girl and use her as a club.
It's awesome.

The graphics and sound, including the soundtrack, are very, very cool as well. So far I'm really digging this game, even though it is a bit too easy and there are a few very minor control and camera issues.

For what it's worth, I highly recommend this game.

Wow, E_J, that's a whole lotta Xboxin'.

As for me, today I picked up (all Xbox games) Max Payne 2 at Target for $16, XIII at Toys R Us for $9.99, and Grabbed By The Ghoulies at Best Buy for $9.99. Those second two I normally wouldn't have picked up, but I just can't pass up an even halfway decent game at that price. MP2, though, I've been wanting for a long time, and the price on that at Target was just too damn sweet. So glad I got it.

I found out Silent Hill 3 was OOP and also only $17.99 at Gamestop, so I ran over and got it... I have never played the SH series much, but I'm hoping for something scary... it's been a while.

Time for someone to post about PC games!

Got Call of Duty on Sunday, finished it yesterday. Well done game, but too short. Glad I got it on sale for $19.99.

Ordered UT2004, DVD edition, for $25 from gogamer.com, and will receive it today. I always feel that Q3 does the multiplayer mayhem the best, but this new version (I have the original Unreal, mission pack, and UT, but skipped UT2003 and Unreal 2) is supposed to be chock full of stuff, including vehicles.

And it has Linux support right out of the box; I always like to show my support for that.

ESPN NHL 2K5 for PS2. I haven't played it yet, but the instruction manuel said you had to unluck stuff like retro jerseys and fantasy stadiums. Grr, I hate that. Just give it all to me to start off with! Oh well.

My better half just picked up 'Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life' for GameCube. And let me tell you, if you think milking cows and tending crops and churning butter sounds fun, imagine pretending to milk cows and tend crops and churn butter.

Now imagine watching someone pretending to milk cows and tend crops and churn butter.

For hours.

Every night.

I'm gonna take the set and throw it out the window, G!
