I got it because of the coming 1.6 patch which is basically a total overhaul of the game, getting rid of everything that was wrong with it and accentuating everything that was awesome.

I'm waiting to install it until the patch comes, sometime very soon supposedly, so I can't really comment on the game itself at the moment. It got good reviews though, and that was before any patches came... so I'm pretty jazzed. You can't say a modern Diablo 2 with guns by the same team is something you can easily turn down.

Wii console, plus 4000 points

Next up - DS MAYBE. With condemned 2 coming out on wed., it might be a stretch on getting one soon.

So what are some good Wii games? I'm not really into the new mario games, so I don't know if I want any of those. What's the verdict on Resident Evil:Umbrella chronicles?

If ya own a 19" tube I bet the Wii's graphics would almost be on par with the real next-gen systems.

I've been going crazy buying old PC games on Steam... here is a partial list:

Hitman: Blood Money
Indigo Prophecy
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Peggle
Bookworm Adventures
Max Payne
Max Payne 2
Return To Castle Wolfenstein

I love Steam, and now I'm remembering why I love PC as well. Good times.

I traded in my old PS2 and Gamecube (Since I've got a Wii) and put it towards the PS2 Slim. Ordered the four games off of Amazon; even though I had a PS2 I never got around to picking up a LOT of games, so I guess it's catch-up time now.

Bought a whole bunch of cheap Xbox 360 games:

The Darkness (had it once but decided to give it another try)
Crackdown (a game I never should have gotten rid of)
Enchanted Arms (never played)
Kameo (never played)

plus...

BIOSHOCK (360) - $19 brand new /sealed! If anyone is looking for this game, hit your local FYE's. They have it on sale for $19.99 / $17.99 with membership discount. They're suppose to be on sale until 3/22.

Any recommendations for DS games? Right now I'm looking at getting Super Mario Bros and maybe Mario Kart.

I've played the demo to death, now for the full game!! Massive fan of this series, and been hanging to playing for ages. Tempted to buy the Japanese version for the last 6 months, so finally the day has arrived for this baby.

Jason, Moogs or anyone else who has this game - what type of game is this? Is it an RPG? I'm thinking about picking this up, but if it's an RPG, I might pass as RPG's aren't my cup of tea.

It's more of an action game, really... collect the monsters action game. It certainly has RPG characteristics though, like lots of dialogue and some upgrades... changing weapons... so it depends on what you hate about RPGs.

I've only played one RPG - KOTOR. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, but what I don't / didn't like is not having free reign over the fighting aspect of the game, meaning, that the game would pause before engaging the enemy and having to preselect the blows that would be thrown at the enemy beforehand.

The dialogue and everything else I don't mind.

KotOR actually had an option to remove that pausing, FYI... In any event, Fable has a real-time action combat mechanic, so no, none of that.

Thanks Moogs. I didn't know that about KOTOR. I think right now, Gamestop has this marked down to $29.99. That's roughly the same price they're going for new, on Ebay. I read over at CAG that they've been spotted on clearance at BB for $14.99, so right now, BB is my best option - if they have it at that price.

$47.99 on clearance at Best Buy. Couldn't pass it up at that price.
