This week I got

Castlevania for PSP with a neat 8-bit keychain

Zack and Wiki for Wii (I am so happy that a point and click adventure game came out)

and Ratchet for PS3

How is Zack and Wiki? I would love an adventure game now but all the reviews say the story is too kiddy and something you have to look past... well, the stories were a HUGE part of the adventure games of old, not just the gameplay.

I only played the introduction and I was not liking it so much. The voice samples are annoying as hell (I had the same problem with Okami) and so far the story is you putting a dead guy back together. I can't say yet if I like it though.

My hope is that it will get harder and more challenging (I realize I only played the intro so it is a teaching level)

$10 dollars each out of a bin at Wal-Mart. Couldn't pass on these for that price.

Decided to get Guitar Hero III with the new wireless guitar. Just waiting for it to arrive. I was gonna hold out for Rock Band but the wireless guitar sold me.

TimeShift is a great little FPS... the 6.5 it got on Gamespot is insane, it's a very well done and polished game with some awesome enviornments, a long single-player campaign, and cool time power and weapons.

That said, I agree with reviews that it feels very "old-school"... not much new here, even the time powers are bascially a spin on FEAR's time slowing. There are some cool puzzles that use it though, so it has a leg up there.

I wouldn't get it if it means no Call of Duty 4, or no Assassin's Creed, but if you have the money for all of them I would definately... yeah, DEFINATELY... suggest Timeshift to any FPS fan.

Got it for basically $7.40 used. Roger's Video was 2 for $40 on all used games.(before 14% tax) Picked this up along with NHL'08 for the PS3 (which i don't want to play and nothing else out that i did want to play either) Anyways I brought NHL'08 to BlockBuster for trade in and got $39 back in store credit Can't wait to see what i can grab next for $8 or dollars

Good choices man, those are the holy trinity of the PS3 as of now.

At least rent Heavenly Sword though, it's a ton of fun and has some amazing moments, it's just short.

OK, so it's kind of useless as a "gun", since you still use a reticule on the screen, so it's not a true light-gun, but for $20 and the decent Link's Crossbow Training included, it's cool. It does make shooting a bit more fun, IMHO.

I just bought that Wii gun thingy that tazer floyd talked about above.

It'll be fun to use it for the new Resident Evil.
