IGN and a few others ripped it, but a bunch of reviews also praised it, like Game Trailers and, for the most part, IGN's AU review.

For what it's worth I played the first two chapters and loved them.

Reviews, especially the arbitrary numbers attached to them, are completely fucking pointless. So many times a low reviewed game like Call of Juarez, Just Cause or Lair becomes a favorite of mine, while something praised like Zack and Wiki or the entire MGS series is crap to my eyes.

I actually read reviews and ignore the number, watch clips and play a demo if possible, then make a choice. All the complaints about Alone in the Dark seemed completely minor and the praise sounded right up my alley. So far I was right.

A few updated titles. A few replacements from games I sold which gave me the shits previously. And some new ones.

Tell me if Haze is worth anything... I was sooo excited, but I passed because of reviews and release footage. And since I hate the MGS series, my PS3 is seriously like... dead. I haven't turned it on in weeks.

I was excited for this game but found it to be a bland, cookie cutter FPS. Then when I finally have been trudging through it the semi cool feature of the character your playing having nectar it gets ripped away and you don't have it for the last half of the game. Totally lame and for all the hype not worth it. I rented it through Gamefly and I might pick it up if it was $20.

Just downloaded Siren: The Blood Curse from the PSN network for PS3. It took forever to download. I'm talking hours. It is broken up into 12 chapters so I was able to play after the first one downloaded up if Sony wants this to work the download speeds have to be improved.

Still haven't opened it yet. The demo was fun, but I think I have hit a point where I cannot be stuffed playing games.

Just bought Soul Calibur IV today and played it for a few hours. Fun game, not too different from the previous games, which is good. The character creation bit is deep, there are so many options.

Manual needs MUCH more information in it.

Is "Too Human" a FPS game?

Seems only other genres are Sports (EA) a few racers (NFS) & Music (GH)

I guess harsh video game violence sells so why make anything.. original anymore.

Uhhh... it's not an FPS, it's a Diablo-like RPG collect-a-thon.

And violence, or lack of it, really has nothing to do with originality.
