I'm going to pick up Fallout 3 today. I really didn't have a need to get it at midnight because I'm still deep into Fable II. I really want Dead Space though. Maybe in a couple weeks. I gotta get to task and start finishing these games.

Yeah, I've got Fable 2, Saint's Row 2, Dead Space and Farcry 2 all sitting here half finished as I pour all my time into Fallout 3.

Man, this thread comes alive for Gears of War 2. I guess I'm one of the few who finds the series extremely overrated.

I tend to agree. My friend sold me his for $40 bucks so I can't really complain. Don't worry, if you played Halo 2 the story is eerily familiar. Very, very lame.

Both of those games are really fun! You shouldn't be disappointed. Motostorm was quite the surprise for me.

Really amazing game on PC... the graphics can look stunning, the controls are tight and the action never stops. The end stage stand-offs are thrilling... playing it late at night with my best friend is some of the best gaming I've had in years.

Still a great game... all those "they took this and that out" whiners can shove it, that crap wasn't fun, GTA4 does the core mechanics right. Looks even better on PC... mouse aiming means no lock-on crap. Great stuff.

So do you need to be hooked up to the PSNetwork in order to play LBP or is it a game that can be played like any other game? I don't have my PS3 hooked up to the net. I've been hearing nothing but great things about this game.

I'm thinking that I need to pick up Dead Space as well for either the 360 or PS3. Is one version bettter than the other?

No it has a single player campaign which I hear is very short though. I guess the real greatness is downloading the levels but not necessary if you don't have it hooked up.

Cool. I'll probably wait until I can get it for a good price. I've been on a game buying spree in the last week or so, all of them new and on sale/clearance.

PS3
-----------
The Simpsons Game - $9.99 at BB
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - $29.98 on clearance at Target
Ratchet and Clank Future : TOD - $19.99 on clearance at Radio Shack
The Darkness - $9.98 on clearance at Target
Metal Gear Solid 4 - $20 shipped from ebay (new/sealed)
Star Wars : The Force Unleashed

XBOX 360
------------
Lego Indiana Jones - $21 shipped on ebay (new/sealed)

Target also has DMC4 (360) on clearance for $14.98 and Rainbow Six : Vegas (PS3) on clearance for $14.98. I'm kinda thinking of getting DMC4, but I'd rather have it on the PS3. They also have Ninja Gaiden II on clearance. The last price I saw was $19.98

Picked this up today. Pretty good so far. One of the few games the wife and I can enjoy playing together.

Yup, I bit on that deal as well, except I sprung for the PS3 version.

That's a game I've been thinking about getting if I can find it cheap enough, but I don't know which version to get. Is one better than the other?

I picked up a few more titles as well. This is definately my biggest splurge in games ever, over the last two weeks - 10 titles after LBP!

Dead Space (PS3)
Resistance 2 (from Amazon's "buy a select PS3 game and BD and get a PS3 BD remote for free").

I will probably be pulling the trigger on Little Big Planet this weekend as well. I would've got Motorstorm:PR too had Amazon not have sold out of it today and they didn't axe the $10 off coupon for that game - a month before the coupon expired!
