I'm planning on picking up a Gameboy Advance tomorrow morning with Super Mario World packed in. I'll probably get Metroid Fusion and Castlevania with it, and I was wondering what other games out there are good that aren't from Nintendo. I already know how good all the Nintendo stuff and SNES remakes are, but what else is out there? Are the MegMan games good? How about that Klonoa game? Are there any good RPGs? I haven't paid much attention to GBA until now...
Thanks in (heh) Advance... I'm so funny! |

Do you like turn based strategy? If so, don't miss out on Advance Wars. Also, I'm going to assume you like RPG's, so check out Golden Sun. There are a bunch of "classic" packs that are kinda fun, and Mario Kart too... -M |

Yeah, don't miss Advance Wars whatever you do!
Also be sure to try Golden Sun, and Tactis Ogre (if you can find one). Seeing that it's one of my favorite games of all time, I don't think you can go wrong with Link to the Past either Depending on your overall interest in wrestling, the Fire Pro series is also pure genius. Hell, you may even like it if you have no interest in wrestling. It's that damn fun! ![]() |

Well beat Metriod Fusion today, that is a definite grab...
As far as Super GNG, it is a great game, but if you dont like a big challenge pass on it... The Mega Man Battle Networks arent really like Mega Man, though there is one that does follow normal standards, Mega Man Zero... I have not tried this title yet but from what I hear it is also very hard... Mario Kart is a solid game that shouldnt be missed, Also if you are a fan of DBZ the Legacy of Goku is pretty good too. I think I am going to pass on the new Kirby because its just a remake of an old nes game that I didnt find too great to begin with, I dont know about you guys though..... Phantasy Star collection looks like it packs alot of bang for the buck, since it has PS1,2+3 all included, for 30 bucks it cant be beat |

Thanks everyone... Metroid Fusion kicks major ass, Castlevania is pretty good, Mario is regular mario, good stuff all around...
I think Zelda and the second Castlevania will be my next purchases... after that I'll look into the stuff you guys mentioned. I looked Golden Sun up on the internet and that is a must buy |

The second Castlevania game for the GBA is much better than Circle of the Moon. The screen is much lighter and it's made by the same team that did Symphony of the Night for the playstation.
Advance Wars is really fun to play Golden Sun is a good RPG Wario Land 4 is a fun platformer Sonic Advance is really fun, like the Genesis titles Mario Kart is great and is more like the SNES version which is a good thing in my opinion Link to the Past is the best game ever in my opinion, so you should pick that up. |
