I really want a reason to buy the BBA for Gamecube and right now PSO is it but ... should I wait for the Xbox version? Hmmmm ... I do not know. I'd love to play online with you guys but if one in ten have the GCN version I might as well scoot my ass toward the Xbox. Trrrrrry not to vote if you're not going online with it.

Aside from the advantages the XBOX version will likely have over the GC version that I mentioned previously (better communication, less chance of massive cheating, possible lower fee, probable lower lag), we have already started Live Nights here, so when PSO does roll around for XBOX, we will surely have a ton of PSO Live Nights, where most of the forum regulars will likely participate. Instant community you know to play with, which is pretty cool.

Realizing that the Xbox version would probably have voice chat pretty much sold me. Online fees don't scare me much anymore since most likely I won't play for more than a few months.

Still wondering though ... I'm sure there are a few people on this board that have the GCN version already that I'd like to play with.

It's currently unknown. Microsoft is apparently marketing the game, so odds are the fees will be reduced or done away with altogether (at least for some time). The Gamecube version has fees to cover server costs - since XBOX Live subscribers already have paid for some of that server cost, its very possible the fee will be lower or even eliminated. I'll let you know when I hear anything concrete.

I have been playing the GCN version online with the BBA since Nov 11th.
Been having a good time with it ever since except for today.

Cheating? Not yet unless you consider lame shit like someone asking newbies to "show" them their items by putting them down on the ground and running away with them.

Fee? To be honest, I can't see myself playing this for more then another month or so. First month is free, so that is cool.

My biggest gripe is the way people play. You're gonna find this regardless of which version you play on.

People expect the Forces to only heal and use Shifta/Deband and Hunters hog up all the rares. Its a very greedy world out there

Just like in Diablo2

Oh, I have no idea what the extra GCN/GBA shit is. Check Gamefaqs for more info on that.

I'm clicking XBOX version, but if it takes forever to come out I might get the GCN one on impulse...
