Question Return To Castle Wolfenstein worth $19.99 (plus 10% off)?

I saw this game in the local paper and its on sale for only $19.99 at Best Buy! Plus I have a 10% off coupon. Pretty damn sweet. I love FPS and this game has gotten some good reviews. What do you guys think? Is this a must purchase? What are your views on the single player missions and Multiplayer Online missions?

Hell yeah!

It's got great gameplay. It plays differently from other FPS'ers like MOH:AA, but that's not to say it's bad, just different.
It's got excellent graphics and challenging levels, without being impossible.
Some levels **COUcatacombsGH* are actually scary. No kidding.

Am I missing anything?

All in all, you can't go wrong. Certainly not for $20.

I found the graphics somewhat dated, even though the GOTY edition was released earlier this year (but I believe it was originally released late last year). Personally, I found the single player mode rather boring, and that the multiplayer is really where it's at. For under $20, I think it's a worthwhile purchase, and the expansion pack Enemy Territory, due early next year, should add to the replay value.

UT2K3 (in High detail, naturally )
MOH:AA Spearhead
Battlefield 1942

RTCW has a bled, tie-dyed look to the textures everywhere; it's really a turn-off for me.

I hope the Medal Of Honors go for this cheap. I'll be getting those as soon as they do.

I think that RTCW is better than MOHAA.

I thought that was just part of the ambience. It the way they colored the textures that gave it a dusty look. I saw the "tie-dyed" look you saw as worn-out clothing. Exposed threads, white-ish elbows and seams.

I thought the graphics (in high detail, naturally ) were excellent. At least, it uses the same engine as MOH:AA and Spearhead.

UT2K3 uses the Unreal Engine, but what does B1942 use? Curiosity.

If anyone wants to play MOH:AA or WtCW on-line, just drop me a PM with an AIM or MSM accnt.
