That puts the PS2 one step closer to being the widget everyone feels like they need in their home, if the technology works out.

I thought Xbox was to handle this as well. Unless they scrapped the idea for the XBox2.

It seems more like a step for the next PlayStation or XBox system. If the price doesn't go up on the systems too much it would be a defenate purchase for me in a system.
