The title, developed internally at Nintendo and headed by Majora's Mask director Eiji Aonuma, scored 10, 10, 10 and 10 -- a perfect 40 out of 40 points.
The reviewers commented that even though the game doesn't duplicate the "shock" and newness players felt when first entering the Zelda universe in the third dimension (Ocarina of Time), that the world is so perfectly realized and animated that it's impossible to put the game down.

While I think that's fantastic news, can anyone say they're actually supprised, especially coming from Famitsu?

They might as well call the mag "Miyamoto Weekly"

With all the stuff Nintendo's been putting out lately I find it very believable that the game deserves it.

Don't get me wrong. I have remakably high hopes for this game as well. I think it easily sits atop my "most wanted" list right now, I was just pointing out Famitsu's propensity to literally salivate all over eveything ever touched by Miyamoto-san.

I didn't want to suggest that he hasn't earned such preferential treatment

i dont think the reviews will be quite so high over here, especially since the market over there is more into the cartoony graphics

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask both got close to perfect scores over here Subby... I think EGM even gave all 10's to MM... not too much a stretch to think Wind Waker will do the same, especially with how EGM and other mags are talking about how "amazing" it looks...
