anyone play this, i was really addicted to the first one when it came out and have contemplated picking this up, any comments?

The reviews I've read state the sequel is more of an expansion pack than a true sequel. Assuming that doesn't bother you, may want to pick it up. For me personally, I am sticking with the original for now.
