I remember playing the demo a while ago (pre graphics card) and it was so unplayable I couldn't get any decent impressions of it. Now that I have a card I've been itching to play some of those games that my machine couldn't handle before. So, is Black & White any good?

I always thought it was a great game, similar to Populous, but much more interactive. Most places sell it for $15 to $20 now, so I would say pick it up.

I found it fun for a while - but it didn't hold any longevity with me. While the AI for your creature was amusing, it got awefully repetitive. There are multiple ways to pass each level, but most people ultimately take the "evil" path because the good path provides zero incentive.

Like above, I enjoyed it for a little while but it soon got repetitive. I ended up doing things like picking up the towns peaple and stepping on them or dropping boulders on their heads and stuff because I got so bored with it. It really did have an amazing A.I. though.
