Who's double-dipping for MGS2-Substance?
I'm trying to decide what to do.
I'm leaning toward the double dip because I bought SOL after it was made a greatest hit AND was on sale at circuit city for $16.99. I can sell it back to EBGames for $5. It looks like Substance will street for $39.99, so after all is said and done, the game will end up costing me +/-$50, which is where I would have been from the start before it went GH. Everything I've read about the extras makes me think it's worth it. The only downside that I can see is that it won't recognize SOL save files. So I'll have to start from scratch and give up my beloved stealth cammo. ![]() Also, it seems us NA folks are getting screwed out of a free copy of The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2. It's being packaged with the european versions but not the NA versions. Cheers. J. |

I say wait for it. You already have SoL and the Xbox version of Substance is already down to $25-$30 ($20 if you're lucky.) That's what, not even five, six months old now?
That said, the VR Missions are fun. Playing through Substance was my first time with any MGS game. And I think Documents can be had for $20 also. |

If or when it's $30 or less, I'll definitely be double-dipping. With the XBOX version at $30 right now, there's no way I'm paying anything above that for the PS2 version.
