I must be the only person who likes the expansion idea. I mean, most of the expansion packs have been pretty good. Hot Date and Vacation both added good features (Hot Date with its dating feature and towns, and Vacation with its vacationing) and the celebrity idea is AWESOME. I'm not a fan of the Sims myself, but I do enjoy its originality, versatility, and its huge fanbase.

I don't mind the expansions. I have every one of them so far. I'd rather them keep coming out with more expansion packs then come out with a Sims 2 that simply only has new furniture, new jobs and a new place to visit which could have been done in an expansion pack in the first place.
Personally, though like I said I have them all, I really only like the ones that add new stuff to the inventory and add more jobs. Going on vacation or a Hot Date is sort of a pain in the ass in my opinion. The pets in Sims Unleashed are really good-for-nothing. I simply buy an animal so I could brick it in back at my house and watch it die just so I could get haunted by it's fuzzy little ghost during the nights. (I usually do that to that annoying neighbors kid too. :rar: ) I love turning my backyard into a graveyard in the game. :rar: |

Anyone know what order the expansions were released? I want to start from the begining of the ladder (I believe it's recomened to do it that way too) and I dont know which pack the "Deluxe Edition" has. |

Yes, "Livin' Large" is in the "Deluxe Edition".
I bought "Superstar" today. I've been enjoying it so far. I've met Marilyn Manroe and Christina Aguilera, but I haven't met any other celebrities yet; how many celebrities are there? Also, what is the fastest way to turn my sim into a celeb?

Re: New Sims Expansion coming- Sims Superstar

Went into their forum and found it was a known bug. Tried all the recommended "fixes". None of them worked. I continued to play it for about another week or so but it got to the point where it was too hard to play when you couldn't find things like the telephone to call a cab. So I stopped playing. I hadn't noticed if they released a patch for it yet or not. Usually, they don't and just put an update in their next expansion pack, which just came out, Makin' Magic. This one looks really cool but I'm very hesitent to get it. Has anybody got it yet and if so, any problems? |
