Do you know those slots in the PS2 cases where put your memory card in?Well I find those very useful and I was disappointed when I bought a used copy SSX that didn't have a slot in it.It just had the disc holder and the clips that hold the instruction book.So I was wondering did the original PS2 cases (when the system first came out) have cases like these without slots?

I believe Zone of the Enders was the first to have the mem card slots... The first few runs of games didn't tho, ie SSX, Tekken Tag, etc.

All my game cases have mem card slots, from Ridge Racer V to GTA Vice City

So I guess I have one of the original SSXs without the memory card slots. Oh well.

I agree with Draysoth. Most First Generation PS2 games didn't include the card slot. The slot was planned to be included in all cases even before the PS2 release, but It took a few months longer then expected on some titles. A least in the US.

Are there any SSXs( besides the greatest hits one) that have mem card slots. I'm assuming the greatest hits one does but I could be wrong.

If you really can't stand the non-memory card case, you can order some more cases here:
