Can anyone refresh my memory on what motorcycle game is coming out (soon I think) that was described as a combination of Road Rash & Burnout ?

dont have any news for you, but i forgot all about roadrash, that was such a great game, definately needs to be remade, if we get something like it i will definately be excited

3DO went bankrupt and sold the game's properties off. Therefore no idea.

You could always get Speed Kings... Medicore game, but same sort of idea - might satisfy your craving.

So have you played this Speed Kings ? How do the bikes handle given the speed they claim to instill ? How about a quickie....uhhh, review that is.

They both were the same style burnout meets roadrash game. Jacked seemed like a more aspiring and less generic project, and I don't think there was much info on Speed Kings back when I posted about Jacked.

Check out this preview of Jacked. Looked like a pretty badass game, where instead of just punching/kicking a biker off (Speed Kings), you get to beat them down with weapons and other stuff

. I did some research, and JoWooD is the new owner of Jacked. Still no ETA on it, though.

Haven't played it (that should throw up a red flag right there!

), but according to reviews it is a so-so game. While racing you score points to fillup your burnout meter (they call it something else) by bouncing off the sides of cars and punching/kicking other bikers off their bikes. Control is apparently so-so as well. Average review score was ~65% IIRC, so don't expect an awesome game. But it may be decent enough if you are looking for a Road Rash type fix. OTOH, it looks like the battling part of this game was just tacked on, as opposed to a core element (like Jacked).

If it's any good let me know...

Speed Kings just got reduced at Gamestop for 29.99 new (all versions)

I just bought a used version (Gamecube) for 19.99 minus 25% for $15 at EB Games, they showed a preview on X-Play the other night, got a 3 out of 5, same developer as Burnout 2, but X-Play said it was missing some polish and you had to do too mank tricks to get boosts, but you can slide under trucks in the way and the speed looked amazing so I figured I would give it a try.
