Anyway, so who do you think will have the best show this year? Personally, while Sony has a ton of good looking titles coming out in the next year, and I am sure I will enjoy many of them, nothing has really had me drooling except for ICO 2. I can't wait to see what they've done with this game!
Over at Microsoft my interest lies in seeing some good footage of Halo 2 and Fable. Fable sound so ambitious that I hope they can pull it off, but I have my doubts. I guess we'll get a clearer indication from E3. I also think MS plans to launch some big "surprise" title. With Halo 2 and Fable slipping to 2004, their holiday lineup is a bit bleak, so I think they'll show us something we don't know about. Nintendo interests me the most just because they seem to be the most shrouded in mystery. They are making a Mario 128, but no one seems to know a thing about it. They also apparently have some "new franchises" ready to debut, but no one knows what they are. It might all turn out to be a bust, but I have my fingers crossed they will show something that takes my breath away. I am also very interested in seeing what they show of Metroid Prime 2. I am hoping they take it in a different direction, but I guess we'll see...

I'm hoping for a couple of surprise announcements from developers, something totally unexpected (like Battlefield 1942 for the PC last year) that become the talk of the show. There are some interesting projects in the works from most of the major players, but nothing so far that has me totally amped. Either way, I can't wait for next month's gaming magazines in my mailbox.

It is. But, that will have to be sucky to play, since you probably won't get the huge add-on fanbase, map editor, good multiplayer, and the advantage of having a keyboard and mouse to play (since the game has about 80 buttons you HAVE to use).

Aside from the obvious Nintendo games (Mario 128, Mario Kart Double Dash, Rogue Squadron III) I'm actually very interested in seeing what Rare has in store for the X-Box. I've heard rumors of a new Conker game, and maybe a sneak peek at Perfect Dark Zero. I can only imagine what these games will look like on a next-gen console.
I'm also waiting for big surpises (those are the most fun). There are wild rumors of a new Zelda game and I hope they're true. (not that Windwaker was anything forgettable)

I'm looking forward to seeing some Conker info. If the new Conker game (assuming there is one) ... if the new one keeps the humor of the first, I'm all over it.
Konami should have some surprises lined up. I really want some solid info (heh, get it? :p ) on MGS: Twin Snakes. That's about it. I've been waiting for some online news from Nintendo but I doubt that will ever happen. ![]() |

GameSpot has some early pics up early from the show, one of which shows a logo for a new game called Metroid: Zero Hour. They think it will be a new GBA game, because it was with other GBA games like Donkey Kong Country.

The DOOM3 trailer at E3 had the XBOX logo on it, so it looks like its officially coming to the box! Fable has also been moved up to XMAS 2003.

i actually ended up being able to go, i went on thursday, i have to say the Halo 2 demo was very very nice, that game is going to be unbelievable. starfox looks nice, brute force looked really nice, and Knights of the Old republic looked extremely nice, one of the games i was most impressed with was Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, its an Xbox title and it is just a massive warrior game, but it was really fun to play, Condition Zero looked Beautiful aswell
