Xbox Dead or Alive 1 & 2 remakes come to XBOX Live

http://xbox.ign.com/articles/401/401131p1.html

"May 07, 2003 - Reports out of Japan indicate that Tecmo will be bringing remakes of the first two Dead or Alive games to the Xbox with full Xbox Live compatibility. The games will be released as one package. Details such as pricing and release dates have yet to be revealed.

Xbox Live compatibility seems to be the big click with the remakes, but Tecmo is apparently planning for a bit more. While the remake of the original will faithfully reproduce the graphics featured in the Saturn version of the game, DOA2's visuals will apparently be improved a good deal.

Expect to hear more in the coming weeks."

Ack, the first DOA. That game was a bit iffy... All you did was counter. And counter counter-moves. And counter counter-moves of counter-moves.

That's what I like about the DOA games. And don't forget the "xtreme" jiggle physics of the first game.

I'd buy it. Especially since I'm on Live now. An online 3D fighter would be great. But, being the completist that I am, I would hope for DOA3 online also. Maybe another booster disc? They could just put it on the DOA: CC disc.

depends on the price of the game. if its say $20 bucks sure i buy it but i wont pay any more than that for these games unless they redue the graphs on the game.... i wont pay 50 or 60 bucks for these old games with or with out live just to have the same graphs as before...

if its cheap enough, but i would rather have downloadable content to make my DOA3 game Live!, but that wont happen, i would rather just wait for the next game in the series
