In a move not too surprising, EA has again announced that NASCAR Thunder 2004 will be online for PS2 only.
For those looking for some online NASCAR action on XBOX Live, you will be looking for SEGA's Daytona USA Online, which is coming soon for XBOX. Not entirely a bad thing, as Daytona USA is a far superior and more fun multiplayer experience than NASCAR Thunder, but it is still disappointing to see EA missing the boat, as is not having the option to play Thunder on Live if one chooses to. The real question is, if EA continues to not add any significant features to its NASCAR titles, will people continue to buy them simply for updated rosters? Will people continue to take the shaft from EA? The answer, sadly, is likely yes.
