Grand Theft Auto PSX Collection

Okay, I know these are nowhere near as good as 3 and Vice, but every time I go to the store this collection calls my name... "buy me, buy me!"... are they any fun at all???

Not bad games, but they will feel out dated to you now, I am guessing.

I can't believe you've never played the originals. Really, if you have GTA III, the old ones are pretty worthless. I have GTA2 on the Dreamcast and haven't played it much at all. I used to play the hell out of the GTA demo back in high school. It was on a PC Gamers demo disc IIRC. Then, a friend of mine got me a copy of GTA2 and I played the hell out of that also. They were both fun for the time.

Rockstar made the first one available for free a while ago. Get it here.
There's many places that have the GTA2 demo for download.

Hmmm... I'll check it out, thanks Ikea... I don't know why I never played it. It's not the 2D that turns me off (favorite games are in 2D), I just heard the controls and shit made it hard and annoying to play.

I jkust bought GTA the other day. While I cant speak for GTA 2, the first one is pretty crappy. The cars are so hard to control. The graphics are good enough for me, it was just the awful control

GTA1 actually controls really well on the PC, but on consoles 1 & 2 the controls have been terrible.

I thought the best part of GTA was the fact that it has great gameplay, although I never played it on a console. I thought the graphics were pretty bad, but they are passable.
