Perhaps I'm just out of the loop, but what is ToEE? And what system is it for?

D&D: Temple of Elemental Evil for PC...

Game looks awesome, its definitely going to be worth picking up when it comes out, barring the unforseen (Like Pool of Radiance).

I'll go ahead and edit the thread title to be a bit more clear on that.

Ooops...sorry...yeah..as the person above said Temple of Elemental Evil- its based on the Greyhawk series. the new rule set and is turn based.

Here is a recent chat that the developer had to learn more about it!

Sycowulf - thanks for that...thats what I was thinking, but just wanted a bit of advice and thoughts from others

and IKEA_boy thanks for editing!! sometimes I forget to be a little more clear...

For some rando reason this game came out today...1 week earlier than supposed to...and the reviews are looking good...did my homework....and since I asked ya all here about it I thought I would share!

http://www.gamespy.com/reviews/september03/toeepc/

They gave it 4 out of 5 stars....

Fans of other computer RPGs should be able to slip into ToEE quite easily. At a glance, it appears as your standard isometric view game where you control a party of adventurers and guide them through towns, woodlands, and -- of course -- dungeons. Think Baldur's Gate and you're not too far off the mark. The game lets you start by picking from pre-generated characters or creating your own band of up to five adventurers. Either way, your characters start as bumbling novices and spend the rest of the game progressing through up to ten levels of skill.

I'll be buying this. I'm cursed - not only am I huge D&D nerd, but I'm a huge Greyhawk fan, and then add on to it that anything that is Dungeons and Dragons on the computer means I can not leave the house (thereby appeasing the wife) and you have a situation where this game is getting bought by me!

I just finished (yesterday) the first expansion to Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide. I really quite like NwN and the expansion SoU, and I am eagerly awaiting Hordes of the Underdark (expansion 2 for NwN.) I hear this game (ToEE) allows up to 10th level characters and if it sells well enough, they'll release sequels/expansions, so I encourage everyone to buy it. :-)

PC purchase code for the demo

so, i guess the demo that was released for ToEE has an option to buy the game and then update the demo with this purchase code to make it into the full game.

anyone have reg generator, crack, or workable code?

I played NWN too...its fun. One of my friends and I started playing at the same time and got very addticted...what do you think of ToEE so far. I have to agree with most of the reviews that I have seen that I really enjoy the game and am glad that I purchased it. WHat are your thoughts Lyman?
