Mega Man Gc New!!!

Capcom has announced Mega Man Anniversary Collection, a compilation of classic Mega Man games, for the Nintendo GameCube. The game , which is set to hit on February 24th in 2004, contains Mega Man 1-8, as well as a pair of Mega Man arcade games that never made it to North America. The disc will also be packed to the brim with all sorts of Mega Man bonuses. This truly is a classic Mega Man fan's dream!

That's cool and all, but I'd like to see the MMX series included as well.

Awesome. this is definitely worth 50$... that is a shitload of playtime in that disc...

BTW the two Mega Man arcade games are actually 2d fighters by the name of Power Battle (or something to that effect)... They are ok, at best... You can try them out using either the MAME or Callus arcade emulators.

It says in the press release that the music will be upgraded... well i hope that the first 6 megaman titles get graphically upgrade to SNES quality.

I look forward to the power battle games... I'm sick of using MAME to play them.

I don't believe so.... I remember playing one of the PSOne Imports a long time ago, the actual game plays/looks the same, but Capcom put in some extras outside the game with mini-games or art (can't remember now).

I never played MegaMan. I'm "cultured" just enough to recognize him.
