New to gamecube...where are my favorites?

I am relatively new to my gamecube and the last console I owned was a standard nintendo (I think).
Some of my favorite games were:
Zelda
Final Fantasy (played mostly on PC with FF7 and PS)
Mega Man
Mario Brothers
Metroid
Castlevania

My question is, since I am new, which of these have I missed, if they haven't come out yet, are there plans for the future of some of my old favorites?
I already have Zelda WindWaker and Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine (not overly impressed so far, water is a bit hard to control)
I just saw the thread on the Mega Man collection
Castlevania?

Congrats on the Cube purchase.

I highly recommend:

"Rogue Leader"
The forth coming "Rebel Strike"
"The Two Towers"
The forth coming "Return of the King"
"Namco Museum" (classic arcade games like Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga and more)
"Tiger Woods 2004"
"Splinter Cell"

Others:

soon to come Mario Cart
Mario Toadstool Golf
Super Smash Brothers

I haven't been too impressed with any of the Sonic games so far. I want to get the mega collection but don't want to spend mega bucks for it.

There's my 2 cents. Welcome to the world of the Cube. Where you'll know you made the right decision but can't get over the fact that your friends can play online with PS2.

The GC controller ROCKS!

Don't forget Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 (A favorite of me & my wife) goodness for the whole family

Also F-Zero, Mario Golf, get the Gameboy Player for the three Castlevania's (all as good as Castlevania IV on the SNES), Soul Calibar II, upcoming games that look good Viewful Joe, XIII, Beyond Good & Evil, Prince of Persia, R: Racing Evoltion, maybe True Crime (not all exclusive, but since you don't have any other system)

Oh and Mario Party 4 & 5 if you like family/party games
Sonic Adventure 2 is 19.99 online at KB Toys, not the best but worth $20 easy. Sonic Heroes is coming soon too.

Castlevania and the most of the Final Fantasy games are PS2 exclusive.

Read up on some of the latest archives at penny-arcade.com. They're constantly raving about Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for it's multiplayer goodness.

As Engineer said, if you have the Gameboy Player, check out the three Castlevania games for the Gameboy Advance.

For some simple addictive fun, Animal Crossing is going to be dropped to $30 on the 25th of September.

Thanks for the replies.
I won't be buying another console or a GBA, just not that interested in consoles. I play Magic Online as my main form of diversion
If i remember correctly, in the day, Castlevania was a nintendo only game. I know Final Fantasy is sony and therefore PS, but I sure did like those games.

Wasn't there rumor about a remake of Contra for the GC? Also Ninja Gaiden would rock and Kid Icarus

ahhhh, nostalgia...

There is a new Contra game on the PS2. Ninja Gaiden is coming to the Xbox.

If you like shooters, pick up Ikaruga ($20 at Best Buy). Search for "Ikaruga" in Game Software for more info.

FF is NOT Sony. It is a Square Enix property. It was originally on NES but has since veny VERY multi platform. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles comes out next year in the US for GameCube

Not that I heard of, and Contra: Shattered Soldier is for PS2

Ninja Gaiden is going to Xbox, and no where else. Kid Icarus is a rumor for GameCube...time will tell.
