What should I start with? (FF Anthology & Chronicles)

I just got FF Anthology & Chronicles in the mail today, thanks to a kindly moogle. What should I start with? The only one I've ever played is Chrono Trigger back in the SNES days.

Go in order, from 4 to 5 to 6. I think 6 is still the ebst Final Fantasy game ever.

I started Chrono Trigger. :p Mainly because I have fond memories of that game and I was really itching to play it. The load times worried me at first, but after a few minutes of playing they didn't bother me much. There are a few times though when they seem extra long, like when a "what is this character's name" screen is coming up.

Overall, color me impressed. I can't wait to find some more time to play.

Whatever you choose, you'll be here a while.

Personally I ould start with Final Fantasy I (on PSone's Final Fantasy Origins) and watch the series progress. (Although no FF3 in America... yet)

I really don't have any interest in playing through the entire series. I bought these because I wanted Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI, (even thought I already had FFIII on SNES, which I never played. I wanted the "real" version.) Too bad they weren't in the same package. After I'm done with Chrono Trigger, I'll check out IV, (the game so nice Ruined said it twice.)

Actually, I'll probably play something else after that. I have so many RPGs I have barely touched.

I like this;

Final Fantasy IV [ 1 ] 16.67%
Final Fantasy V [ 1 ] 16.67%
Final Fantasy VI [ 1 ] 16.67%
Chrono Trigger [ 0 ] 0%
Moogle is John Travolta's doppelganger [ 3 ] * 50.00%

One for each, except the one I chose to play first... three for Moogle.

I would request you play FF6 next, because it's my favorite game of all time and I'm interested in what my lil' buddy has to say about it... but no pressure ( )

And as THIS picture will show, I do not look like John Travolta :p

I was going to start a "New Game +" right away but it wasn't an option. I even saved the "system file" and everything.

That's odd... you have to load your saved game to do it I believe... I'm sure there's a trick somewhere... did you wait until after the credits and save it? Anyway... make sure you get Magus or don't get Magus, depending on what you did the first time...
