Found a cool game this week that is great for the budding engineer. In this game you erect bridges, which must then withstand cars, trains, earthquakes, and various other things. Basically you are given a mission, to erect a bridge that can withstand some sort of stress, then you are given a budget and piece limit, and can build away. Once you go to test it, you can watch either from far away, or from inside the car/train crossing the bridge... And if the bridge crumbles, the physics are cool as you watch the car/train go tumbling into the river, along with twisted heaps of iron and steel. Good stuff.
Here is the demo Buy the full game here Minimum System Requirements Operating System: Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP Processor: AMD Athlon 1.0GHz Intel Pentium 3 1.0GHz Memory: 384 MB RAM Hard Disk Space: 500 MB free Video: Graphics card with an NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti Sound: DirectX 9 compatible sound card DirectX: DirectX 9 or higher
