Preview Disc at K-Mart for MK:DD

In the newest issue of Nintendo Power, there is an ad for Kmart offering a special preview disc with 6 playable demos when you reserve the game. the deal starts tomorrow, and yet no one knows what the 6 playable demos are going to be. I'm hoping at least one is Mario Kart, because I want to see if it's any good.

also, isn't this supposed to be available everywhere, not just Kmart?

just a heads up so you know to go get it tomorrow.

whoops, sorry. I'm just used to calling it that.

So I went around to a bunch of different stores, and either it's A) "duh what are you talking about George? " or B) "we don't know when we're going to get it" or C) "yeah, we know it is in our ad (best buy) but we don't know what you're talking about." great.

Okay the offical word is the bonus disc will be given out at the time of purchase, not reserve, but when you pick up the game, some people think this is in response to retailers always selling bonus discs without reserve or people just getting them without buying the order. Still not sure if the bonus will be a seperate package or packed in with the game. Also looks like it will only be pre-orders that will get the bonus not people who just buy it, but still not clear. Nintendo is being so secretative about it, but then again that is Nintendo for you. I was reading an article about a producer that was being asked if Mario Kart 64 would be on the disc and he said something like that game would be too similar to Double Dash, would this be a hint that maybe another game would be on or perhaps Super Mario Kart would be available, maybe a download to the GBA, but that is just me reading way into it, but would be cool.

Playable demos:
1. Mario Party 5
2. F-Zero GX
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
4. Star Wars Rebel Strike
5. Sonic Heroes
6. Fire Emblem content that includes unlockable weapons, abilities and new music (requires Game Boy Advance, Fire Emblem game and GBA/GC Link Cable to unlock features)

Plus 7 all new movies
nice, if it weren't for the fact that I own F-Zero and have the bonus disc for Star Wars. the Turtles demo sis the one I'm most excited about, that's for sure. that game is looking so good.

Just to fill in the list for the free disc

IGN Cube.com

Quote:
On the disc will be five playable demos of recent and future titles including first-party games Mario Party 5 and F-Zero GX, as well as third-party offerings, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, and Sonic Heroes. There will also be non-interactive movie clips from the following games: 1080 Avalanche, Kirby Air Ride, Pokemon Colosseum, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Harry Potter: Quiddich World Cup, NBA Live 2004, and Spongebob Squarepants: The Search for Bikini Bottom.

Also of interest to Game Boy Advance owners, this disk will also unlock exclusive content in the upcoming Fire Emblem cartridge, including unlockable weapons, abilities, and music. You'll need a Game Boy Advance GameCube cable to take advantage of this feature.

Mario Kart: Double Dash is released on November 17th, and supplies on the Bonus Disc are limited.

That disc means nothing to me. If they had MK64, then I would have definitely pre-ordered... but now, I'll ust wait till release day.
