I'm never playing The Sims again until they make an expanion pack that allows your character to be a pimp or whore.

Makin' Magic? What the hell is this one about? I have all of the previous ones except for Superstar, which I'll get eventually, and if this one is good, I'll consider it.

I'm a Sucker for all Sim's expansion packs even though I rarely play the damn game. Just don't have the time. Superstar was cool but it had a lot of bugs and last I checked Maxis still hasn't released a patch for it. But I could be wrong, the Sims' web site kinda sucks.
I'll pick it up, play it for a few days then shove it in the drawer with the rest of the expansion packs.

This is true but it wasn't even that. I didn't have a single other expansion pack loaded when I loaded Superstar. But after playing the game for awhile your graphics would...uhm...DISAPPEAR!
Yeah that's right...they'd just go away. Oh you can still move your guy or gal around and click on things if you could find them. Sometimes when moving your pointer over something it would reappear but for the most part they'd stay gone until you saved, quit, and restarted.
Very annoying problem.
Maxis came up with all sorts of "home remedies" to try and fix the problem. Some would work, most didn't. But like I said, I'm still not aware of any real patch for that particular problem. Maybe adding the new add-on will fix it.
Hopefully.

I lost interest in The Sims at about the beginning of this year.

Used to be into it hardcore though, made many skinz and walls etc...
If you ever used anything by AllMightyLord (2 l's) that was me.
