Xbox Canceling xbox live

Since my Live subscription is nearing its end, and I don't feel like getting charged for a service I don't use, could someone point me to where I would cancel my account? I've been browsing Xbox.com, but most of it seems to just be hype for products. Could someone point me toward the right direction, for canceling my account. A website, perhaps? Thanks.

Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They'll take care of everything.

(By the way, you still haven't accepted my friend request. :p )

the brian, rest in peace. I may pick it up again, in the event that I get more Live titles. Though, the rep told me that my old name will basically be frozen.

Adios. Myself, on my days off I play it every night. Midtown Madness 3 is just insanely fun with the group I've cultivated, and with PGR2, Crimson Skies, and Top Spin out there, it's only going to get worse for me. My poor Xbox is getting worked to death...

Definitely call. They may keep charging your credit card if you don't.

I haven't used my account much either. But then I got to thinking about it. It's $50, the price of a game. The way I saw it is that I pay $50 for a game my friend and I can play and enjoy. Live gave us atleast that enjoyment with titles like UC and MA. We could play together against other people who didn't suck. Rather a rare opportunity as most times we play with other living people we're forced to be on opposite teams due to our slight level of skill. So we had a blast. Atleast as much fun with Live as any other game I've purchased in the past year... so for me that $50 was easy to justify. And I get to keep my name. Plus up to this point they'd had some good online only updates for games like MechAssault, UC and Splinter Cell...

Though now I hear the new MA updates have to be "purchased". I won't be giving them any more money...

My Xbox Live use has become so casual as of late that another $50 would be a waste. So goodbye siamesellama. Dead as of 2:30 this afternoon.

Now comes the ultimate question. Is there any purpose in keeping the majority of my Xbox Live games?

Are you people never going to learn? With Halo 2 on the way, that alone is worth it all...

I think the secret is to either cultivate a good friends list, which takes a bit of patience but is more than well worth it. Or join some kind of Xbox Live group. There's plenty of them out there, Ruined's Live Nights folks are one example.

By randomly joining games you're only setting yourself up for having to deal with a bunch of kids and assholes. Sure, you can end up joining friendly and enjoyable games without a great friendslist, but it's so much easier with one.

It's not that I didn't have fun or didn't have people to play with. I have spent 100+ hours with Wolfenstein and the same with Tetris Worlds. I don't buy new games that often so keeping it for Halo 2 or anything else that's coming out is not an incentive.

To be completely honest I've been avoiding playing Wolfenstein and Tetris because when I do I get completely addicted and play for hours at a time. That's fine with me though. It's not like I don't have other games to play.

I still have my account, MooglePorn, but I never play it. I have been moving around constantly recently, changing roomates and such... which means no broadband... which means no Live play. I do bring it over to my Mother's house once in a while to download stuff though, and I do plan to get broadband when I make my permanent move back up north next month...

Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow Live play just looks TOO FUCKING COOL to not ever play it...
