Life Is VIEWTIFUL

Viewtiful Joe is nothing less that a work of art! I can't believe my eyes! Addictive too, can't stop playing... It's so fun to kick the crap out of those robots, and a few challenging puzzles to boot. Overall a great game!!

Please share your thoughts!

I loved the demo and played it the most out of all the other demos.
I'll pick it up soon. I think this game will be a hot seller.

It's getting great reviews all over the place. I'd love to pick it up but I'm about to drop some mad cash on Cubivore, (finally!) Maybe I'll just ask my girlfriend for it for my birthday.

As for it being a hot seller, I was skeptical at first, but I'm confident it'll be up there with the "big boys." I'm actually surprised at how many ads I've seen... magazines and television.

WOW!! The opening sequence, I swear Joe's girlfriend goes down on him twice!!! OMG, the positioning, this girl is one crazy ****.

(Not the actual picture, but it happens when Joe is at the theater)

There was a game that got cancelled a few years back, I forget the name of it (I actually have a "copy" of it at home), but it was a fighting game that took place in an insane asylum. You could play up to four characters at a time and one of the characters was this chick in a french maid costume. Kinda like Mortal Kombats finishing move, you could do a finishing move in this game too. Hers was hillarious. The camera would show her and the defeated opponent standing next to one another, and she slowly went down and out of view. Moments later the defeated guy would start moaning and shaking -- it certainly seemed to me he was getting "some enjoyment" from her, but then, the camera panned down and you see that she was actually tickling his feet! F-ing hillarious ! Now, if I could only remember the name of that game

Thrill Kill was the title, wasn't it?

I've heard nothing but good things, except for a complaint about a serious lack of save points. Is this true, 'cause if so, I might ahve to give it a miss. Nothing makes me break a controller more than a save that is too long in the coming, forcing me to try over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I thought the same thing!! The angle her head is at, just seems very, very suggestive.

Anyway, the game is absolutely amazing. The controls are pretty simple, but you can still do so much with it. The "power-ups" are kick ass, and the combos of various moves just add a ton of depth to it, at least IMO.

I only played it a few hours last night, but I can see where this is coming from. It's pretty much the case that you have to complete a 'scene' in order to get to a save point. And even then, there are times when you'll complete a section of the game, and then on the next screen that pops up, the only options are to power up or to move on to the next scene.

That said, I don't think you should let that sway you away from this game. It is soooooo much damn fun!!!!

I get like you, and feel like breaking my damn controller from time to time (F-Zero comes to mind immediately), but this game just screams 'fun'.

Highly recommended.

Looks good!

With the Gamecube now under $100 and games like this one, Rogue Squadron and Metroid Prime I may just have to pick one up.

Yup, I also find myself throwing, smashing and stepping on controllers from time to time. That's exactly why I've avoided F-Zero. I really want to play it, but I just know that it'll be at least a two controller game.

However, VJ isn't as bad as I thought it would be. There's a "Kids" difficulty that is actually pretty good. It's challenging enough but not so much that you'll be breaking anything.

I like it.

Anyone have any clue on how to beat the lizard guy with the bikes in his office? I think he is the second boss... anyway I get up to him no problem, and I can get alot of hits on him but he always kills me before I get him down to his last lifeline

Hulk Davidson is a pain in the ass! OMG! you must destory his axe OR wait until he throws it then run up and attack. Another thing that helps is if you hit the missiles from the desk.. make sure its in SLOW when they hit him. They will take a lot of health off.
