I just started playing SSX Tricky recently and am absolutely loving it. I can't wait to eventually get SSX 3. I've seen many reviews claim it's the best snowboarding game ever, which I can easilly believe. |

Yeah Marq, an official price drop might take a while. Even a decent used price might be a bit, unless you use Half.com or some such. Thanks Ikea! SSX/Tricky is one of the few games that I've really, really enjoyed through the launch of the PS2 all the way through to my GCN and now on my X-Box. I love the "one mountain" idea in this one! I read you could conceivably board the whole thing at once, and it would take something like 30 mins... ![]() |

I got SSX when it came out on Tuesday. All I can say is that I have not been to bed before 3AM since the. If you like SSX & Tricky you will love this game. There is so much stuff to do in this came. Excellent replay value!!!!
Open ended so you can jump in and race or freestyle or buy new gear all while in the game. My only gripe albeit small is that unlike previous SSX titles when you purchase new boards it does not effect your character rating. You must earn cash and buy attributes. Petty but I had to say something bad so not to appear as a fanboy! |

I'll have to wait for Xmas to play this one, alone with Castlevania and T.H.U.G..
I loved the first 2 games in the series, and obviously cannot wait to get my hands on the new one. Glad Kaori's still in it!!!!

My brother got it for XBox, and with the exception of the controller layout (I have a PS2, and haven't been able to hang with the XBox controller), I love it! Especially the Super Pipe! I can't wait to get it! I almost looked through my spare bedroom full of furniture from downstairs and hooked up my PS2 to play some tricky!

...and the Super Pipes!!! I was not expecting much and went into the first one skeptically but now it's one of my most beloved aspects of the game! |

I bought this a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Although I don't think it's really worth $50 (it does seem kind of short), it would be a great to get at $30 or lower.
There are lots of things to unlock, but most of it is really just clothes and other odd items, like a surfboard or cardboard box to snowboard on. The graphics are amazing though (I love the effect of water droplets condensing on your screen) and it has a cool soundtrack.

I ended up buying this game and must say that it's great fun.
I like the idea of unlocking all the secret characters along the way, but it takes a while to build up the points for this bronze medal specialist. A fantastic game. |
