Poll: What determines your new game purchase?

Ok, tell us what deciding factor(s) you use to determine the purchase of your next game?

For me, graphics play a huge roll, the type of game is obviously important too since I'm partial to fighting, role playing adventure (RE), and racing. Hows-about you ??????

Graphics, genre, developer (for example if i know its from capcom or squaresoft there is a big chance its going to be a good game)... And to a much lesser extent music/sound, and reviews.

Gameplay and graphics are the primary factors that I consider when I'm buying a new game. Genre is important, too, but I've been known to dabble in the RPG and racing genres even though I hate most RPG and racing games.

Story isn't that important to me unless it's a Star Wars game. I suppose that it's nice to have one, but I'm not the type of person to follow it with any sort of interest.

But all that doesn't mean that I won't play a game with bad graphics or that's story intensive. I'll play just about anything as long as it's fun.
