Resident Evil 4 MOVIE

This movie clip looks great.....the village people (not the band!) are pretty crafty too. One guy quickly moves while being lined up for a head shot.

Saw this the other day and the only thing I could say was HOLY...FU**ING...SH*T!!!!!! The orge-beast looked incredible and moved--dare I say it--a wee bit more realistically than his lookalike the cavetroll in LOTR:FOTR. And I think the noticeably faster pace of the zombies (and of the game, itself) is just the kick in the pants this franchise needed.

Until I learn that Umbrella Corp will play a bigger part than I've been led to believe it will, I'll remain two steps back from loving it.

I dunno guys (Engineer_J & Reaver). For me, I just got sucked into the whole RE thing from the get go. You see, I didn't have any gaming consoles when I was a "kid". When I grew up (I know...that's a debate in itself :p ), my first experience with Horror in games was Resident Evil. I guess I can't let go......to me, it's a great game still, regardless of controls (Ruined! ) and regardless of story - to a degree. I just like the fact that I can sit there playing and suddenly have a BM in my pants and then laugh my a$$ off because "it" got me. Storyline shmoryline....controls shmorols....plot shlot.....shock me, you got me!

Guess that makes me a non-hardcore-gamer

Hey, at the very least, I've ended up buying underwear for myself because of these games instead of relying on getting them for Birthdays and Xmas!

My statement was more of a complement, especially if it looks and plays as good as that video, a real showstopper for the Gamecube, hope Capcom & Nintendo advertise it as such

I'm pretty sure only the last two trailers are actually from the game that we will see. The first three are from the build that has been scrapped.

You think it's gonna be expensive this fall? Ohhhhhh yeah! I gotta get online with the "Box" and compete against Ruined and some dude Dr. Sin, so my life just got mucho expensive! On top of that, I'll be buying the RE for the "Cube" and get some other games.

I feel your financial pain bud....I do..

(but.......you only live once! )

Nintendo's Perrin Kaplan said that they would help Capcom advertise the game in an interview

It seems the zombies in part 4 are not as stupid as the ones before. They are able to talk and make strategy.. why is that? and how do I get an Avatar for myself?

1. They are not zombies, or so the producer of the game claims.

2. Click the FAQ button at the top of the page.

Before I saw the resident evil 4 video clips I thought the game of the year would be the new half life but not now. This game looks amazing, dont get me wrong so does the new half life but RE is just scarier. I wonder if any of the S.T.A.R.S members make an appearance in this one; in the books, stars (or what used to be stars)is still trying to get rid of umbrella.

It would be interesting to see some familiar RE characters make an appearnce, but I have my doubts about Mikami making that happen. RE 4 looks more like a clean slate kind of deal.

yes I have to agree with that. Beleive it or not having entry wounds would probbably make it alot better than it already is considering it would probbably be the first game to do it.

Thanks dude...that was awesome! Looks like they're going to make you 'think' a bit more on how to kill your enemies this time around. Pretty cool....

And was it me, or did the guy at the end saying "It's game time" remind anyone of Antonio Banderas in that Desperado flick?

That's a sweet frick'n trailer. Good to see they didn't do anything crazy like getting rid of the cheesy dialogue.

Well R4 is definitely different. In the beginning it shows what looks like a nuclear explosion and then it shows Satanic monks coming after you. Maybe this sequel will uncover all the secrets from resident evil.

This trailer is sick. The nuclear explosion in question at the beginning of the film is Racoon City. That is why immediately afterwords it says "six years later" (Resident Evil = 1998. Resident Evil 4 = 2004. Get it)

Can't wait to get my hands on it. Even if there is no Umbrella Corp.
