Though this might be fun. Post the games you own, and like, that scored 6.9 and below on IGN (to make things easier for those with collections there), or 69% and below on gamerankings.com. Post the games you like that critics think suck, and do it with pride!
MAKE SURE YOU READ AND POST IN THIS THREAD, TOO!! Here are mine for XBOX and PS2 with IGN scores in order of badness: LESS CRAPPY Breakdown - 6.7 Whacked! - 6.6 Azurik: Rise of Perathia - 6.5 Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller - 6.5 Fantavision - 6.5 Gradius III & IV - 6.5 Evil Dead: A Fistfull of Boomstuck - 6.4 Black & Bruised - 6.3 Kung Fu Chaos - 6.3 Toejam & Earl III - 6.3 Air Force Delta Storm - 6.2 Kakuto Chojin - 6.2 Quantum Redshift - 6.2 Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb - 6.1 The King of Route 66 - 6.0 Star Wars: Obi-Wan - 5.9 Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix - 5.8 18-Wheeler American Pro Trucker - 5.5 New Legends - 5.5 Starsky & Hutch - 5.4 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 5.3 Ford Racing 2 - 4.9 Tetris Worlds Online - 4.8 XBOX Music Mixer - 4.0 Marvel VS Capcom 2 - 3.9 Namco Museum - 3.9 Myst III: Exile - 2.0 Super Bubble Pop - 2.0 MORE CRAPPY

I don't know if this proves I own very few games, or all good games... but I have exactly one... Tetris Worlds. And really... everyone needs to own Tetris in one form or another. Also, Midway Arcade Treasures comes very close with a 7.0... but I ask you, could a collection of these games have been better done? I think not...

I think assigning only one score to game is rather difficult. I've found many a games that I've loved, for instance Azurik: Rise of Perathia, but I realize that a great number of people would get bored with that game. Just like many might not want to play games with crappy graphics anymore.
Therefore, I don't take game scores all that seriously, as game reviewers usually fail to score the game as it should be scored IMO. Most score the game based on how good they thought it was, and how much they predict general public might enjoy such a game. This is flawed; instead, I think review sites should score games based on how well they execute the premise they set forth. OK, so you don't think the general public wants to play Joust anymore - but Midway's Arcade Treasures executed its premise splendidly, and if the general public doesn't want to play Joust, they simply wouldn't buy they title. I want to look to a review to see a technical evaluation of a games graphics, audio, and control/gameplay. I'm not really interested in how the reviewer likes the premise of the game or not, but unfortunately that usually slips in there. Gamespot is especially notorious for this, and though they often do comprehensive technical analysis, their overall reviews are generally flawed because the opinion of the reviewer on the premise of the game tends to dominate their reviews. Perhaps two scores would be appropriate - an overall summary of how well a game executes its premise, and a second score predicting how much the reviewer thinks the average gamer would like the title.

6.9 on down according to IGN...
GBA- 6.0 Baseball-e 4.0 Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Wrath of the Darkhul King 5.0 Clu Clu Land-e 6.0 Mario Bros.-e 5.0 Pinball-e 6.0 Tennis-e 5.0 Urban Champion-e GameCube- nothing under 8.3 (Rebel Strike) PlayStation- 3.2 Danger Girl 6.9 Parasite Eve II 4.0 Resident Evil: Survivor 5.5 Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro PlayStation 2- 5.5 Britney's Dance Beat 6.5 Resident Evil - Code: Veronica X 6.9 Resident Evil: Dead Aim Xbox- 6.4 Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick 4.8 Tetris Worlds Online 4.0 Xbox Music Mixer ______________________________________ I disagree with ALL of the PS2 scores. I would rank them Britney [8] Veronica [9] Dead Aim [7.6] With the Xbox, I agree. I just don't "get" how to play TWO cause I have it with the starter kit and have no manual. The GBA and PS1 game ranking is fairley accurate.
