Blinx is one fine pussay

I rented the game and did not, in any way, think it was a stand out. What do you like about it Noto?

It was okay, but not a stand out game at all for me. Very average. But if you liked it, that's cool. I loved Voodoo Vince and Geyond Good And Evil, and neither of those will probably get a sequel.

I thought it was a great game because it is essentially a puzzle game wrapped up in a platforming package, very unique with its gameplay elements and visuals as well. It gets tough and has a few flaws, and is agreeably probably not appealing to the mainstream gamer. Worth owning and playing through IMO tho, especially for those who like 'different' games

As for sequels, I know they definitely started working on Blinx 2, but I don't know if they continued work on it due to the poor sales of Blinx 1. If it does happen, it will likely be an XBOX2 launch title.

The look of the game is incredibley generic, which bugs the hell out of me. It's like they spent so much time on Blinx, the character, that they made every other enemy a giant fucking M&M.

The gameplay itself is pretty fun.

Totally disagree, I thought the environment and enemies were very tripped out and unique, I actually found Blinx himself more 'generic' than any of the maps or enemies.

I dig the whole time-control feature. Plus I like that they made it challenging to be able to use it. You have to get the correct combination of crystals in order to get that control. Then you have a limited number of crystals in your possession. Therefore you could fuck yourself up by accidentally collecting too much of one crystal type and thus losing your original. When you get to the ice world or whatever it is called, you have straight done fucked yourself bigtime. It is hard as hell.

My only real complaint is that you can't keep your old sweepers. Nevertheless, it is an interesting game. One of my favs as platforms go. And for $10, how the fuck can you go wrong. I gotta get Voodoo Vince tomorrow. But I am going to try to beat Blinx before I get into it.

They're all nothing more than colored blobs. Sometimes they'd mix things up and throw a polka-dot blob at you but I didn't see anything that made Blinx stand out from the pack with regards to enemies. Hardly unique.
