Animal Crossing and Tenchu mostly.

I just keep playing the first level of Tenchu over and over. I suppose that's a sign of a good game when I can stand doing that eh?

Gloworm and I have been playing Ty: The Tasmanian Tiger that we rented from Blockbuster. It's pretty simple, which is why Glo likes it so much.

I would, but honestly I'm never online much... so yeah.

I'm still playing a bit of Silent Hill 3 and some KOTOR... waiting for Fable...

NOTE: There is a slight spoiler below for Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. Not plot spoilers or anything, just a discussion of a particular gameplay element late in the game.

- - -

Been doing Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow both online and off.

I'm at the last level of the offline mode and even though I've only played it for a few minutes it's pissing me off. I goddam hate it when developers decide to break up to monotony with levels that don't at all jive with the rest of the game. The biggest culprit of that that I can think of would be the blood levels in Max Payne.

In RB63:BA they decided to throw some stealth into the mix on the very last level. I hate stealth. If I wanted to play stealth games I'd play Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid or Tenchu. They did the same on RB63, but at least then it was in the middle of the game which gave me a reason to complete that stealth level in order to further advance onto the other fun levels. Since it's now on the last level in RB6:BA I'm seriously considering not finishing it.

If they absolutely, positively feel they HAVE to put stealth into the game, at least then give me a playable alternative. I wouldn't have been so peeved if being detected only meant I had to fight more enemies or a timer was turned on or something like that. But being detected is basically the same as game over.

That's enough ranting from me for now.

KM

Burnout 3 is an absolute blast on or off-line. I can't get enough of it. Is anyone else playing this?

Finished up Beyond Good and Evil on Tuesday. Now I'm working on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (I'm stuck on the battle against the Prince's mutated father).

On any random day, you'll also find me playing:

Viewtiful Joe (GC)
LOTR: ROTK
Crimson Skies
Splinter Cell 1 and 2

I usually don't blast through games in a few days or so. I'll pick 5 or 6 and spent about 6 months beating all of them gradually. I get a lot less pissed off that way. And it makes them ultimately more rewarding.

I'm working on Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. I'd like to eventually open each "krypt."

I finally bought a router so I've been playing on Xbox Live a lot more in the past couple of days too.

Also ive been playing Burnout3 which totally rules, and FFXI, as usual.

I can't put Burnout 3 down. I was all excited the week before, with Silent Hill 4 coming out, but then my friends and practically every reviewer out there raved and raved about B3, so I had to get it.

I'm so damn glad I did.

Grand Theft Auto 3, and after I run through that, it'll be Vice City. Needless to say, my mouth is watering for San Andreas.
