I haven't been in here for a while, so many games have passed since my last post but at the moment I'm hooked on Crackdown, have touched on GRAW 2 a little (will play properly when I've completed Crackdown) and am still playing Rainbow Six Vegas online.

I've got Call of Duty 3 and Lost Planet to complete and have got lots to do it MotoGP '06, which I haven't played since last year.

I totally agree. I'm glad someone else here is playing it. It's sad that this is the first game to go in my PS3 since Resistance. It is absolutely amazing. It is worth picking up a PS2 just to play it (although I would start with the first one).

Finally beat God of War II. I cannot wait for the next one!

Anyway...

Trauma Center Second Opinion (Wii) 6/10
Once you've done one Esophagectomy, you've done them all.

Rayman: Raving Rabbits (Wii) 7/10
These mini-games start to hurt after a while.

Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (Wii) 7/10
I think it'll be a while before a game like this is fun for the Wii.

Super Paper Mario is great looking and sounding, but I guess I was expecting more platformer in my platformer.

I like it so far, but I really wish they'd stop putting stories into these games.

Just let me play like the old Mario.

Yeah, reviews praise the story as funny, but I think it's just lame. And there's no platforming! I bought it because I thought it was a platformer, and it's more an RPG with a horrid story.

Bleh. Huge dissapointment.

Dragon Quest VIII. I normally hate JRPG's, but a lot of people recommend I give this one a try, and to my utter shock I'm in love with it. I've clocked about 22 hours on it so far, and I'm probably not even halfway through the story. Just a fantastic game in every respect.

It’s games like this that worry me. It’s just not as fun to play this on the Wii, at least not with this control scheme.

Spiderman 3 is fun but it looks like a PS2 game... even at max settings. I like it though, swinging through the city is a joy just as it was in the last game... just don't expect it to look or feel much different from the last game.

I wonder how much of a graphical difference there is between the PS2 and PS3 versions. Isn’t there extra content on the PS3 version?

I think so, yes, you can play as the goblin only on PS3.

I got the PC version because it's the same game only $20 and it looks better at max settings. Still looks like a PS2 game though, just with some new textures and higher resolution... it's the architecture of the game that makes its old-gen roots obvious.

I'm playing Spiderman 3 on both the 360 and ps2.Both versions are very different even the free roaming missions. The 360 lets you go into the sewers and subways in free roam, lets you swim, has 10 storylines, has a good variety of crime missions,Mary Jane missions and skydiving missions. The ps2 version has none of these but it does let you switch between black and red suit at will.Even the crime missions are different.I like the 360 version better but the ps2 version is ok too.Treyach didn't do the the wii and ps2 version Vicarious Visions did. That's why there is such a difference in the versions.

Yeah, the PC version is the same as the 360 one... If it's a totally different game from the PS2 game, one wonders why it looks so last-gen.

Just started playing the Halo 3 beta. Only got a couple of games in last night but it's pretty enjoyable so far.

Spider-Man 3 (Wii)

1. Game looks like ass.
2. Fight system blows.
3. Swinging with the remote is not as fun as you'd think.

The Wii's hype-o-rama seems to be crashing into reality for you lately PH. It's okay, really, just because the media says it's awesome doesn't mean it is... you can say it. Other than a couple first-party gems the Wii has a lot of crap on it, and will have mostly crap on it for a long time.

Anyway, I'm playing Spiderman 3 in awesome 1050 resolution on my PC with a 360 controller and I have to say DAMN the reviews, the game is pretty damn fun. The missions can be annoying at times but swinging through the city is aces.

I know... and I have been. I'm saving for a 360 as we speak.

Mario Party 8 is fun, though.

I've been downloading and playing a lot of Xbox arcade games lately. The latest is Prince of Persia Classic which is pretty damn fun. It has everything I remember from the original but the controls are better (it might be because I was so young when I played it last) and the graphics are better. I've also been playing the new Pac-Man that they released. Both are really fun and well done.

I'm still playing Spiderman 3 on the 360.I'm on the last mission and I really love playing as the New Goblin. It's too bad you only get to play as him for a brief part of the game unless you have the ps3 collectors edition.I may get that one so I can play as NG.He's fun to fly around with.
