RUMOR: While never given an air-tight release date, it seems Namco and Nintendo's Star Fox 2 will ship next year.
In development for what seems like a few light years now, the sequel to the smash hit Star Fox 64 being developed by Namco and under heavy supervision by Nintendo, seems to have a delay coming.

Sources close to IGN have stated that Star Fox 2 for the GameCube is silently being moved to 2005, but the exact date or even quarter is unknown as of this time.

When asked about the possible delay, a Nintendo spokesperson shed very little light with a, "Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation."

Star Fox 2 recieved a mixed reponse at this year's E3. Now while some believed it had made some great strides over last year's build, it still had a ways to go to meet the Star Fox standards set by the previous titles in the series.

We'll let you know as soon as any other additional details or confirmations come by.

Damn how long does it take, tired of game companies delaying games, and even as a Nintendo fan I have to think what the hell does Nintendo have for the Fall, I know they will have most of the all platform games, but few exclusives.
