I love playing RCT1,(one of my top 5 games ever) so is there enough new stuff to RCT2 to jusify spending 20-25 bucks for it?

I think you can ride your rides in first person now. That should be worth the price of admission alone.

I have RCT2, I'm not so sure about the first person ride thing as I never knew it had that feature, but from my experience RCT2 is the same thing as RCT1 except it has more rides, scenery, etc and has some six-flags licensed stuff.

In other words, if you don't mind it being like a mega-expansion pack go for it.

RCT2 is basically RCT1 with all the expansion packs added in plus an extra one (with the six flags crap). If you have the expansions for RCT1 then I would just say hold out for RCT3 cause that is gonna be CRAZY!!! In 3-d with first person view of rides and creating guests and stuff. WOO HOO!!!

RCT2 doesn't have that "ride the rides after you build them" feature..that will be on RCT3 in November. Along with weather changes, more acurate "times", 3D graphics where you can actually walk amongst your guests, firework spectaculars that you can put together yourself(with sound effects too! yay!).
It will definitely be worth buying RCT3!!!! Can't wait to get hooked on that one too!

I new it was the lastest one because I had read an article not too long ago. I just didn't know how many sequels there were.

I have RCT2 but not the first, its highly addicting. And I really like it. Though you might consider that they are coming out with two new games in the Tycoon family - Locomotion and RCT3 and maybe just wait for those.

i would just wait for RCT3, 2 wasnt worth it with the new stuff im hearing for 3 which will have the first person ride, i dont think 2 had it
