WTF!!! GT4 not online!!! - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

While GT4 is still being released this year, it won't be online. What kind of shit is that. This was the main reason I was planning on upgrading from GT3. Another version of GT will be released in 2005 with an online component.

I care not at all. A)I have come to hate online gaming. B)Gran Turismo has to be the most overrated series of all time. "Look at me, I'm driving the same track for the 50th time, barely moving the pad, so I can buy a shock ampethizer that will increase my max speed by two miles per hour! Then I can kick some ass racing this same straightaway another time! Yeah!!!"

I could never get into the GT series at all. So really i don't care about it being online or not but i can see where this will piss off a lot of PS2 gamers out there. Plus i don't have my PS2 online (or hooked up right now for gaming) as i'm all about XBox Live. I wonder how many players they would of been able to support anyways on their servers. I know XBox lacks the realistic racing games as most of them have a more arcade like experience (though PGR2 is pretty realistic but no custom additions to the cars except different selected paint colours) but they are a hell of a lot of fun in the end. Oh well like i said i'm not upset

I'm really missing my Daytona USA online there was on Dreamcast

I keep praying that somehow the version hidden on Outrun 2 supports Live.

Yeh Daytona USA Live would be insanely awesome, the DC version was great.
