Matrix Online

Is anyone here playing this? I've resisted MMORPG's for years now, never seeing one that has sparked my interest enough to give them the money and time it would take to develop a good character. But, I love the Matrix films so much that getting to see the story continue is just too damn good to resist, and so I'm going to get it and dive in. I even have a name picked out and everything. I just hope it's not already taken...

I may pick this up in a few months just to see what it's like, but I don't have high expectations or anything. I'm not a fan of the movies but I really enjoy these MMORPGs, so it's inclusion in that genre practically requires me to at least play through the first month (assuming that it's free, of course).

I'll definitely wait for a few patches to be released before I buy it, though.

I played during the stress test. It was fun, but not great. It was buggy as hell and judging from the reviews it still is. I won't be feeling the need to pay to play this.

I just can't stand having to pay to play a game I've already bought.

I've decided against it. Like Brikar said, I don't care for the thought of paying monthly to play a game I already paid $50 for. Plus, I just have too many damn games to play already without putting in countless hours on another one.

It's too bad, too, as I was all pumped to make a Coder character (seems to be the Matrix equivalent of a magic user). I was going to name him Phage. Ah well...
