Just got an XBOX and want to get some "atmospheric" games... - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Hi, got myslef a console and got THE SUFFERING for it and it's proving rather nerve-shredding playing it in the dark... loving the experience though.

After reading all the good stuff about the Resident Evil remake on the GC I'm wondering if anything comes close to this on the XBOX?

What do u guys reccomend for some scares?

you might like the Fatal frames games or Onimusa (by capcom same people as Res evil I believe) can't think of any others though

The Silent Hill games are pretty scary... Doom 3 can be scary if you play it at night alone. I don't really own any other scary games.

Man if you have a 5.1 system for your XBox then look no further then Doom 3 to scare the crap out of you. I love it though but still i run it with EX encoding on and its scary as hell and there is sound coming form everywhere too

I've bought Project Zero and it's sequel, Doom III and also Silent Hill 2 & 4 and loving them.

My only question now is, are Silent Hill 1 & 3 available, as I cannot find them anywhere?!

SH1 is Playstation 1 exclusive, SH3 is Playstation 2 exclusive
