PC Halo 2 for PC. When?

When will this come out for PC? I've been anxious to play this, but I'm not about to buy an X-Box.

And I figured posting a mesage on the boards was the fastest way to get it announced.

No plans for PC at this point or probably ever. Bungie has all their resources allocated to Halo 3 for XBOX360. Anyway, Halo 1 on the PC sucked ass compared to the XBOX version even with a top notch computer. Unfortunately for Halo 2 you'll need to buy an XBOX or XBOX360.

Actually Halo for the pc didn't suck. It showed you exactly why shooters are better on a pc than console. Sniping on the run, actually being able to track your taget with the mouse, being able to whip around in a second and blast someone. I only have an Athlon 1.4 thunderbird with 512, and a Radeon 9700 pro and Halo ran great.

But Ruined is right I wouldn't hold my breath for H2 on the PC. They need to get cracking on 3 and make up for that god awful ending of 2.

Gamerankings:
Halo (XBOX): 95.6%
Halo (PC): 85.4%

For a PC game it was disappointing...

Needless to say, on my slower home computer, performance was considerably poorer. Luckily there is a setting to lock the frame rate at 30 FPS, which allows for acceptable performance with full enjoyment of the HALO graphics engine...at 800 x 600 resolution. There is really no excuse for the game to run so poorly. I’m a little surprised Bungie allowed Gearbox to ship the game with this big of a problem.
2 years after debuting on XBOX, Halo looked no better than it did on XBOX and you had to run it at ultra low resolution on PC to get it up to speed. It also lacked the spectacular co-op mode of the xbox version.

Twilight zoney... I had a 2.0 with a Geforce 4600, and the game ran perfectly, even at 1280x960, with all the best imaging possible. Indeed shooters on the PC are far better than consoles, I barely play shooters on a console anymore. Shame H2 won't be coming to the PC anytime soon, perhaps I can find an Xbox emulator?

Bullshit, I did all those things with great accuracy with no auto-aim on. It's all about what you play more with, and how good you are with the control method you use. I've had the debate a million times, a dual analog controller is awesome once you get used to it. I preffer it ten times over the supposedly holy mouse and keyboard, no contest.

I wouldn't pay that much for a video card even if I HAD that much extra cash. That's ridiculous.
