Why do gaming websites do this ????? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I have a little bone to pick with gaming websites. I just recently purchased Chaos Theory for the Gamecube. After having seen "screenshots" supposedly for this console I was amazed at how good it looked....or so I thought. My question is this : WHY DO GAMING WEBSITES PUT PICTURES OF THE XBOX VERSION INSTEAD OF NINTENDO'S REAL PHOTOS !!!! This in my eyes constitutes FALSE ADVERTISING. Check out gamespot.com and you'll see what I mean. The first couple of pages are actual screenshots from the Gamecube.....but keep going on to page 4 and 5. Do you see a difference ? I do. And I know these pics aren't from Nintendo because I've seen the Xbox version in person. Wy don't gaming websites post the "real thing" instead of posting what looks better ? Anyway...the game plays really smooth but I was very dissappointed with Ubisoft at their visuals for Nintendo's console. The Gamecube pales in comparison to Microsoft's version.
I guess I'll have to buy a used Xbox or purchase the Xbox 360 when it comes out. I've played this game at my friend's house on his Xbox.....I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY NINTENDO'S SPECS NEVER CAME CLOSE TO MICROSOFT'S CONSOLE. THEY CERTAINLY HAVE THE MONEY. I GUESS THEY WANT TO KEEP THEIR PRICE DOWN. WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING NINTENDO : GRAPHICS HAVE ALWAYS PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN GAMES. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 16 BIT AND 32 BIT ? IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT GRAPHICS. LET'S FACE IT....GREAT AUDIO CREATES ATMOSPHERE.....SMOOTH GAMEPLAY IS NEEDED....BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN VISUALS THAT DIFFERENCIATE THE NEXT CONSOLE. ANY FEEDBACK IS WELCOME.

Nintendo only cares about Nintendo games. This is nothing new. If you care about graphics so much, why the hell haven't you picked up an XBOX before this? Best graphics by far on that console.

Anyway, I guess it is pretty shitty to have XBOX photos on the gamecube section.

I sort of responded to this in another thread, but Jiggy, blame the company that makes the game poor for one system instead of the system itself. Ubisoft messed up, that's all. Sorry you got the brunt of it.

Agreed, xbox is the best, you should have one yourself. While gamespot are being idiots about posting those there, you can blame nintendo too for not supplying enough screenshots.
