I. Hate. STEAM.

This was Valve's most idiotic decision, but heres what really pisses me off. I just purchased a used copy of Half-Life 2, and a used copy of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and my CD keys are in use

...and in-order to be able to pay, I need to fork over $10 a game US...(So I'm lloking at about an additional $30)

YUCK.

EDIT: They don't charge for Half-Life 2...

So, does anyone have an old Steam account or CD Keys not in use for Condition Zero...?

Well I'm sure Valve never intended people to be buying used copies of there games.

Had you had the game before? If so....

Did you really expect the key to work?

As I do agree Steam sucks but I've never had 1 problem with it so I've never had a reason to complain.

heh...consumer depot?

I hate steam because it won't go online for me. How do you make it connect? Every time I try to create a new account it tells me that I can't do that while I'm offline...but there isn't exactly an option that is readily available to make it go online. any suggestions?

I neither like nor dislike Steam. I bought the retail box of HL2, so installed it with that. I've only played the single-user HL2 so haven't had any experience using Stream for online play.
