I have the Gamecube version of this game which by the way pales in comparison to the Xbox masterpiece. Anyway, I've watched the video on how to hack but still can't seem to get it to work without tripping alarms. I understand that I have to press the "X" button in order to lock the highlighted numbers. But once I "lock" on to a number I can't make the others click. Do I have to lock the first number in order for it to work ? If anyone out there knows how to do this correctly please respond. Oh, by the way, I've tried to look up walkthroughs for this version but can't seem to find any specifically for the Cube. I understand that the Playstation version is identical but can't figure out what the triangle or squares mean when compared to the Nintendo controller. Any help is appreciated.

You have to lock when the numbers are highlighted, and yes, I believe you must have the first number first, or something. Maybe you need two at a time. Anyway, I'm not sure because frankly I never bothered locking... It's only 4 numbers, easy to keep in your head.

No you can lock the number in any order just as long as they are lit up. If the progress bar above the numers runs out the alarm goes off of couse.
