I am still waiting to see most everyone else on here go from grey to black in my address book. something that I have noticed is that if a lot of time goes by between when I add you and you add me, we will stay greyed out on both of our consoles. A couple of times now I have deleted and then re-added someone to my address book and they have gone to black right away.

Can everyone explain what a friends code is?
I got one this past weekend and wrapped it up for x-mas, but i really have little knowledge of the system other than the controllers being cool.

So, what is a friends code?

How do you go online? Is it like x-box live where you pay for a year of membership?

What about the archive of nintendo games back to the original nes system?
How many are available and how do you get them?Buy points and pay for it?

It's like a buddy list of other people's Wiis. It lets you exchange messages and Miis (little cartoon characters you create). It also lets the Miis travel to other peoples machines (if you have it set up that way). There's no fee for this but you do have to purchase legacy games through the Wii Store (NES, SNES, SEGA, etc.) The Wii has wifi built in so if you have a wireless network in your home, set-up is a cinch.

BTW, all you people are still greyed out so when you get a chance please add me to your Wii.

Well, due to a full address book (hope Nintendo adds more pages) and a whole lot of greyed out people who haven't added me as a Wii friend yet, I've had to start deleting some people. will be adding the latest people to my Wii soon... some people are still greyed out. try deleteing and re-adding me if I am greyed out on your system. that usually works for me.
