Who all is getting this? This is one of the most anticipated games for me. I played the demo once, and have held off since knowing it would be all the sweeter if I waited. I've got the game with flightstick pre-ordered, and the money set aside! I don't normally like playing online with others, but fighting 15 other players jets is gonna be a blast. Gonna have to get the Iron Eagle soundtrack!

I played the demo and it made me want to NOT buy it. As far as flight sims or any other kind of flight games it was severely underwhelming.

Nah to each their own, I can never get enough of the Ace Combat games. And being able to dog fight others seriously ups the replay value.

I'm getting it.I just got thru playing the demo and enjoyed it but the demo falls short compared to how the game will play.This is going to be much better then all the ace combat games on the ps2 put togeather.

The Demo should have been multiplayer because that is the only thing that might possible draw people to play it...

Once you beat the game all Estovakia color fusalages become purchasable and expert difficulty mode opens.Also Sp New Game,Scene Viewer and music player open.I don't see anything about free flight or all levels opening but I'm sure they do.Bradygames might have forgotten to put it in there.

Yes it replaces the X02 but the X02 may be downloadable.I was hoping to see the F-35 and the Black Widow but I'm pretty happy with the list.Also to let everyone know the landing has been revamped for the better.You can now let the landing gear down and retract it by pressing the left stick down.This has never been done in an ace combat game.

Ugh, it's times like this when I miss being in a major metroplex life Dallas/Ft Worth. Gamestops here, or at least the one I pre ordered at, did not get Ace Combat 6 today, they get it tomorrow. The explained today is the today the factory releases the game, they won't get stock till tomorrow at 11... HORSESHIT! These places are supposed to get stock days in advance so they can be on shelves that morning. So I have to work tomorrow... FUCK... ASS!

There is already downloadable content on xbox live.Right now they have some unique paints for a couple of jets.One of the coolest is a Halloween color.Here is the link I copied off of Acecombatskies.com.

This is one intense game! There's so much going on in every mission it's almost too much. I just finished mission 7, got the S rating for all(on hard). The flightstick is really cool, makes the game a little harder, feels more accurate. Takes more effort, after 3 hours of play my right arm is sore from hectic manuevering. By the time I finish campaign mode I'm sure I can pwn in multiplayer.

Also, i hate the stories they try inserting into these games. It's always a couple of Russia esque countries, and none of the games relate to each other at all. In this one, the phrase "go fly with the angels" somehow amounts to "go fuck yourself". But I started skipping the cut scenes, much better.
