okay - http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/cblc/portal_still_alive

Just don't listen to it if you plan on playing the game all the way through some time soon.

PS- I'm not sure what the policy is on posting that link. Feel free to PM me or mods remove it.

Better on 360 or high-end PC? I know HL2 might be better on PC due to controls, what about portal?

I don't play on the computer anymore,so I couldn't tell you. Just not my thing. The 360, DS, PSP, and PS3 more than cover my gaming needs. For me, computers are for sending emails, surfing the net, and watching porn.

I watched my younger brother play tonight. He doesn't play shooters much, so I anticipated holding his hand through it, but he impressed me with how quickly he got it. Plus, there were several levels that he solved in ways I didn't, and that made it even more fun.

I absolutely love it. It's worth it just for Portal but you get Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, and Team Fortress. It's an amazing buy and I'm sure it would be more of a hit if it didn't come out so close to Halo 3.

I got my cake last night. What a great game.

I agree about the song. The actress who does the voice of GLaDOS is a professional singer, so it was cool that they could encorporate that into the game at the end.

I think my favorite non-gameplay element of the game, though, had to be the voices of the little machine gun remotes. "Are you still there?" Hilarious.

I never got into the whole Orange Box frenzy that the gaming community seemed to be in at the end of 2007 and I was like "what the hell is an Orange Box?", so I didn't pick up OB until about a week ago. I had been hearing so much about Team Fortress and everyone was gushing over Portal, so I figured I'd better check it out before someone ruined the ending of this crazy game about getting some cake.

I Just finished Portal a minute ago. Best game of 2007... better than Rock Band or Halo3. Immensely satisfying ending.

There WAS cake! The bitch was not a complete liar.

cant wait for a sequel.

In addition to it being a great game, 'Still Alive' is helping me master my double hits on drums in Rock Band.

Yes, 4 months has not changed my mind... game of the year '07, for sure.

Is Team Fortress 2 alive on the 360? I was under the impression only the PC version was being properly supported and played.

TF2 is alive on XBL but there are so many other better alternatives to it that not many play.

HA!!! Thats awesome. I find myself when choosing a downloaded song to play and I pass Still alive and the little preview clip plays I start singing " I'm not even angry.... I'm being so sincere right now....".

Better alternatives is an opinion... it kind of shows the difference in the two platforms, since TF2 is the biggest multiplayer thing to happen to PC gaming in like a decade, and everyone plays it.

Wow I just re read my post and I went " What?". I meant alternatives to to TF2 on the 360. COD4, Halo 2 and 3, Rainbow 6, and GRAW are the alternatives I was talking about. They don't have the specific classes that defines the play of TF 2 of course. I don't know if that hurts TF2 on the consoles or not.

Yeah TF and Counter Strike where huge in the PC multiplayer community. When they hit and now, there was never a reason for someone to say they couldn't find an online game to play.

I get ya, I know there are a lot of other things in the console spotlight... CoD4 is pretty popular on PC as well. I think that and TF2 are what 90% of PC gamers are playing online right now...
